How do we remotely connect visitors to a physical exhibition during the pandemic? The exhibition at the Asian Civilisations Museum (ACM) was due to be exhibited in the midst of the pandemic in 2020. Given the circumstances, a fall in physical visitorship was expected. We thought about how we could connect people to the show remotely.

Botanical Lines

Designing to bring illustrations off the pages. The exhibition highlights the collection of botanical line drawings in the Singapore Botanic Gardens’ archives, from 1920s to 1960s, as well as recent drawings.

Faith Beauty Love Hope

Evoking emotions in a physical space through design. The exhibition was designed to spotlight the people behind the Asian Civilisations Museum (ACM) through their stories of faith, beauty, love and hope.
How do we set the tone for an exhibition? Most museum exhibitions are heavy on content and in context. However, exhibitions are meant to bring new eyes to the stories. The visual identities sets the tone of each exhibition.

This project reconsiders the portability of a home. The world today is constantly confronted with change. In the face of natural and man-made disasters, conflicts and wars, the safety of our homes are at a constant threat. This project questions and challenges the certainty of safety in Singapore with a portable home.
